Developer and Curator of the Programme

Proceeding from the proposals made by the public, the Directorate for the Commemoration of the Millennium of Lithuania and its Coordinating Board developed a Programme for the Millennium of Lithuania (hereinafter referred to as the Programme). On 2^nd December 1999 it was approved by a constant State Commission intended for preparation of the Millennium of the name of Lithuania, formed by the decree of President of 8^th May 1997 No. 1293 (Žin., 1997, No. 41-998).
