The symbol of the Millennium of the Name of Lithuania approved by the special jury reminds of Vytis used in the seals of the State of Lithuania.
Symbol of oval form is inscribed with:
“LIETUVA 1009-2009” (LITHUANIA 1009-2009).
The symbol is used in publications, posters, on medals, stamps, during all events devoted to this anniversary and marks other occasional information.
